Live Oak B&B is nestled right in the heart of Glen Rose just between Hwy 67 and Barnard St.  We like to greet each of our guests personally with warm and friendly smiles.   We have five unique rooms available, and we are family friendly.  The house was built in 1948 with big rooms and a lot of knotty pine for a nice woodsy feel.  It is beautifully decorated with western art, prints and bronze artwork from a well known local artist Robert Summers. We have a fun game room with air hockey, pinball, board games and puzzles.  There are several sitting areas outside:  the courtyard, large covered porches and several breezy shady areas on the grounds perfect for relaxing. We serve a home cooked hot breakfast sure to please.  

If you are looking for things to do nearby it is walking distance to just about everywhere!  Three short blocks to the charming and historic downtown square for shopping, antiques, food, entertainment, or just a piece of homemade pie.   There are so many things to do nearby.  No mater if your young or old, there is something for you, a short drive will take you to hunting for dinosaurs, or just their tracks, exploring Big Rocks Park, Bluegrass at Oakdale Park, fishing at Wheeler Branch, tubing down the Brazos, visiting the Creation Evidence Museum or playing put-put with a snow cone.   We hope to see you soon just look for the big stone house on the hill with the giant ant.
