The Ballroom Track Site

This track area is aptly named the "Ballroom" because of the hundreds of dinosaur tracks moving about in all different directions as if the creatures had been dancing when the prints were left. Both sauropod and theropod trackways are visible. Some of the trackways have elongate footprints where the heel of the dinosaur was planted into the ground as well as the foot.

When the river is full these tracks can be difficult to see, and are therefore best viewed during the summer months when the river begins to dry up.
